The CMP Canadian Mortgage Awards are the premier industry event recognizing excellence and achievement in the Canadian mortgage industry.

Competition for this coveted award was fierce. Years of experience gained in processing more than 10,000 mortgages has culminated in EMC being singled out of thousands of brokers across Canada.

To be recognized, companies must be nominated in one of 12 categories by their peers in the industry. They must then complete a comprehensive questionnaire that serves as an in-depth analysis which enables the independent judging panel to assess and examine candidates' management practices. The panel evaluates how companies and/or individual brokers address various business challenges such as new business development, industry involvement, sales methodology and customer service.

Announcement of the winners in each category took place at an “Oscars” style gala on Friday, February 16, 2007 at the landmark Liberty Grand in Toronto, Ontario.
