Ellis Mortgages Canada is pleased to announce that EMC® has been nominated as a finalist in the CMP Canadian Mortgage Awards 07. EMC was nominated for the category of Broker of the Year. The CMP Canadian Mortgage Awards are the premier industry event recognizing excellence and achievement in the Canadian mortgage industry.

To be recognized, companies must be nominated in one of 12 categories by their peers in the industry. They must then complete a comprehensive questionnaire and undergo an extensive, in-depth interview with an independent judging panel to assess and examine candidates' management practices. The panel evaluates how companies and/or individual brokers address various business challenges such as new business development, industry involvement, sales methodology and customer service.

Announcement of the winners in each category will take place at an “Oscars” style gala on Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Liberty Grand Hotel in Toronto, Ontario.
