| Underwriter/Fulfillment Specialist This full-time position will provide “behind the scenes” support for our firm’s senior brokers. The underwriter will process mortgage transactions from start to finish.
1. Deal processing
- underwrite mortgage applications
- compile client documents
- submit mortgage packages to selected lender
- prepare documents for clients to sign
- scan and/or fax documents to client and lender
- order and review appraisals
- follow-up and deal with conditions to complete files
2. Compliance
- ensure files are organized, accurate and compliant at all times
It is NOT a requirement of this position to negotiate with clients or lenders.
Requirements:
- Valid B.C. Mortgage Broker license
- 1 year minimum in an underwriting and/or fulfillment role with a recognized mortgage lender
- Detail oriented
- Comfortable working in a open office environment
